If you guys keep getting a 'controller disconnected' error, its because the Controller S has a fatal flaw:

The 'flex' part near the base of the controller (where the cord enters the controller) is a horrible idea. It flexes back and forth eventually breaking wires inside of it. Also why the hell is there that weight thing above the base of the controller. Absolutely pointless.

The solution, get a knife and a soldering iron. I'm not a soldering expert, but supposedly its not too difficult to cut and rejoin wires.

Take apart the controller and cut off the pointless weight and the flex part, then rejoin the parts. This guy did it in his video, it doesnt show how, but its an idea. (http://www.metacafe.com/watch/yt-eLQ8LWD7d9I/controller_short_fix_original_xbox/)

I also have to do this, so if anyone else does it, please post some more info, thanks and good luck!
