    hey how do u take the wires off from the input of the patch chord from the rest of the pick guard wires…do u have to cut it?

    Stuart, the solid state electronics in a guitar are all soldered, so you could cut it, or desolder it, but either way reassembly requires soldering.

    You just cant beat the quality of a decent old strat, they just play like a glove.

    how do u remove the knob off of the rhythm switch? does it just pop off like the volume and tone knobs?

    I have this guitar but the neck is totally different. It has a Strat-style headstock but it has no markings on it. The body and everything else looks exactly the same as this Silvertone, including the chambering inside it. I now know I have a Silvertone. Thanks!
