Had the same problem as Lee. Unplugged, took the batteries out, plugged back in. Works. It looks like Fantazein is out of business (or at least their site is dead), great to see that consumers can help each other out.

Thanks everyone!

Doug,
Here is a source for a replacement AC adapter that should work. It puts out 12 volts AC just like the original. It can supply 330mA (milliamps) of current. The original was rated at 200mA so this replacement should work fine.

Wow, thanks for the information above about the Manual that is available on the web site shown just above. It is an Adobe file, so I was able to save it, and If I have to refer to it again, will have it available. Great site, and it has helped me to get my clock up and running again. Thanks for preparing this information.

You description above mentions the batteries but does not show where they are behind the front piece that covers the setting buttons and the 3 AAA batteries that are just above the set controls. I had a problem that the clock would not reset after a power failure and I had not remembered that the batteries were even on the clock. I took the clock apart, and then removed the front cover later, and eureka, that is where the batteries were located. If you clock won't reset after a power failure, it is likely that the batteries are defective. After reassembling clock and installing new batteries, it works just like new. I think the clock I have is at least 8 years old, and if I couldn't get the clock reset after power outages, I was going to discard it.

Hopefully someone will be able to find the problem with the part that goes bad in the fantazien clock and post the resolution here(or link), and find the flaw to prevent it from happening anytime soon. New batteries did not work for me, and the swinging motion of the wand is minimal, 1/4 inch or less, with all leds on, and sometimes off.
