Blower uses AC and using a triac is not a very good idea because it takes time to get blower back on speed. 
Much better is to use a kind of barricade from the blower to the buffer (where the reeds are places on) or an adjustable overflowventile. You can use simple mechanical constructions instead of electronic ones.</description>
