You can record the sfx on the extreme bop it. I’ve just recorded the music to use on a radio show - but the quality’s crap. anyone know where I can get a better recording from?
Come and see us at bopitdontstopit.com. We’re really interesting in how to hack the various bopit models, photos of you crazy people playing bopit and much much more!!!
Getting the sound out of one of these shouldn’t be all that hard…
Most toys can dump their sound to a headphone/ mic level jack by wiring one in parallel to the speaker, or using a dual-positon switch to toggle back and forth.

Ive done this before basically you rig some wires to the speaker and you can dump that to a headphone jack and hook that to a computer and record it as a wav, but I meant digitally like ripping music on a CD, is it possible to rip the audio files from the chip
I just took my little sister’s bop it extreme apart, but when I tried to put it back together, I had an extra spring, which I think came from the general vicinity of the TWIST IT. Does anyone have a clue what to do with this?
I took my bop-it extreme apart because the spin part wasn’t registering. I ended up with an extra spring too, but it didn’t make much difference other than that it works better…
I can’t download the bopit download application. I have tried the Hapbro and bopitdownload websites and either the website link doesn’t work or the zip file is missing.
Took my Bop-It Extreme apart and I too had an extra spring that I couldn’t figure out where it went. Does anyone know and can discribe or post picture of placement.
