TakeItApart.net is all about taking things apart.
It exists to satisfy anyone who might wonder, “Hey, I wonder what’s inside this thing,” or, “So how does this thing work, exactly?.” It shows what everyday gadgets look like on the inside.
It documents the disassembly of electronics and other devices. Disassembly guides can help one to better understand and maintain electronic devices. Removing dust from the inside of a gadget is one such task that having a TakeItApart guide may help with.
TakeItApart.net is the creation of RIT student Christopher Tomkins-Tinch, and good friend Brandon Kimball. It was started in February of 2006.
